Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) immunoradiometric assay kit RIA
The OCFA07-AFP kit is a rapid immunoradiometric assay for alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) in serum or plasma for diagnosis and monitor many pathologies.
Diagnosis and monitor AFP-producing tumors in the testes
Diagnose and monitor in liver disorders: hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver and liver cell carcinoma
Screen during pregnancy to detect open neural tube defect or an anencephaly
- FAST 30 MIN ASSAY
Two monoclonal antibodies are used for the sandwich. The first one is adsorbed onto the tube walls, the second one is radiolabeled with iodine-125 and used as a tracer.
Assay procedure: 15 min at RT / shaking + 15 min at RT / shaking.
Working range: 0.3 – 800 IU/mL (1st IS for AFP 72/225)
Sample: serum or plasma – 50 µL
Analytical sensitivity: 0.3 IU/mL
