Free triiodothyronine (FT3) radioimmunoassay kit RIA
Diagnosis thyroid dysfunction
Assess thyroid metabolism, even in the presence of changes in the binding proteins
Monitor treatment by thyroxine substitution and thyreostatic therapy
- EXTENSIVE MEASUREMENT RANGE
- LOW SAMPLE VOLUME
The principle of the assay is based on competition between 125-iodine radiolabeled FT3 and the FT3 contained in the samples for a fixed and limited number of anti-T3 polyclonal antibody binding sites adsorbed onto the tube walls.
One-step assay procedure: 2h at RT / shaking.
Working range: 0.6 – 50 pg/mL (0.92 – 77 pmol/L)
Sample: serum – 50 µL
Analytical sensitivity: 0.6 pg/mL (0.92 pmol/L)
|Population||n||T3L pg/mL||T3L pmol/L|
|Euthyroidism||858||2.0 – 4.25||3.1 – 6.5|
